Through your daily interactions and deepening relationship with the family members, you will inevitably be provided with an excellent opportunity to improve your Spanish, while exploring first-hand the cultural context of the language, and embarking on new and enriching relationships.

UNIVERSAL arranges the student’s request for private or shared rooms with Mexican families in and around Cuernavaca upon arrival. Meals are included if a student elects the homestay option, and the total cost for room and board is between $22 to $30 US dollars per day (see prices). Students who prefer not to live with a Mexican family can receive further information on hotels from UNIVERSAL, but should expect to make their own reservations and arrangements.
